Meet Jon Tattrie

Jon is the editor of Atlantic Books Today and the author of six published nonfiction books and two published novels. He holds an MFA in creative nonfiction from the University of King's College and has taught writing at King's, at Dalhousie University, and privately.

At ABT, Jon regularly works with debut authors and the 40+ Atlantic Canadian publishers who publish their work. He knows what publishers are looking for, and how to turn your manuscript into a publishable book.

Jon's most recent book, Peace by Chocolate, tells the extraordinary true story of how the Hadhad family lost everything in the Syrian war and rebuilt in Canada. In the video below, Tareq and Jon discuss how it came about.
